Chamber Ensembles will meet in 8 week sessions throughout the year. Students will be grouped into ensembles of 2-5 as the schedule allows. Performing chamber music is much different than any other type of performance your child might experience. Students learn how to play their own part with other students without the help of a whole section playing that same part. In a larger orchestra, many students are playing the same part together which is often easier to accomplish. Chamber music provides students experience performing as an independent musician. These experiences will make them better musicians.
